Police: Yonkers 19-year-old indicted for shooting teen last October

Joseph Tejera, 19, was indicted on charges including attempted murder and assault, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office.

Police say a Yonkers teen has been indicted for shooting another teen last October.
Joseph Tejera, 19, was indicted on charges including attempted murder and assault, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office.
Police say the shooting happened in the area of 290 Woodworth Ave.
The victim was in front of the location with several others when a suspect approached.
He displayed a handgun and fired three shots in their direction.
The victim was struck twice and taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, where he underwent emergency medical treatment.
Tejera was arrested in the Bronx several days later.      
He is being held without bail.
