Police say they discovered the body of a Black woman in her 30s after responding to a disturbance call at a New Rochelle apartment building on Saturday morning.

The official cause of the woman's death had not been released as of Saturday night, although authorities said they are investigating the case as a "suspicious death."
Tenants in the high rise called the grim discovery "frightening."
"I thought when I lived here it would be a pretty safe area, but I guess not," one resident told News 12. "My neighbor lives right next to the unit where it happened. I guess that unit has been going through some issues."
