Police in Croton-on-Hudson are looking for a man suspected of trespassing and break-ins in the village.
According to police, a resident on Grand Street called last Wednesday and said a person wearing a hooded sweatshirt, hat, and what looked like a track suit, walked onto his property around 4:30 a.m.
He saw the person walk up to one of his cars with a small flashlight and try to open a door, but it was locked.
Police say the suspect then looked into the window of another car in the driveway, but did not attempt to open the door. Then, they walked away.
About 50 minutes later, another caller on Maple Street told police that someone entered their unlocked car and stole $2,700.
No arrests have been made.
