A suspect was taken into custody Thursday for the 2022 murder of a man in Beacon, according to police.

Khyree Pratt is accused of being involved in a shooting that killed Lionel Pittman in the parking lot of the Forrestal Heights Housing Complex.

Pratt was in federal prison at the time of his arrest. Police say he was brought back to Beacon to face charges.

Authorities say this is the second arrest that has been made in connection to the murder.
