Heavily armed police have a home in Ossining surrounded and several streets have been sealed off. Police say there may be a man with a gun inside the home on Broadway, just west of North Malcolm Street. The suspect is apparently wanted in connection with an armed taxi cab robbery that took place Monday morning. The taxi driver wasn't hurt, but police say the suspect flashed a gun and then ran into the house that is now surrounded. Independence Street, Market Place, Broadway and North Malcom Street are currently sealed off. Residents are being advised to stay indoors.
