A Rockland County man is set to face a judge today after trying to withdraw $29,000 from a Long Island bank.
Police say Ravi Abdul tried to use fraudulent identification to make the withdrawal.
Bank employees became suspicious and discovered the account was already closed due to prior fraudulent activity.
The Stony Point man was arrested at the scene.
Abdul has been charged with attempted grand larceny, identity theft, and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
