Police: State trooper hurt in DWI crash on Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge

The trooper was running radar on the shoulder of the bridge when a car crashed into her patrol car.

A state trooper is recovering at home after authorities said a drunk driver crashed into the back of her cruiser on the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge Wednesday night.
The trooper was running radar on the shoulder of the bridge when a car crashed into her patrol car.
The trooper was taken to the hospital.
Police arrested Linda Kramer, of Tuckahoe, for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Police say Kramer refused a chemical test and was later released to a sober party.
Kramer is due in Greenburgh Town Court on Nov. 18.
