A 79-year-old driver is charged with DWI after crashing into a popular Mamaroneck restaurant, injuring nine people.
Officials say Roseanne Cassano, of Yonkers, slammed into Enzo's Restaurant at 451 Mamaroneck Ave. at 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
They say she was backing out of a parking space and collided into a car before continuing in reverse into the restaurant.
Fire officials say at least nine people were injured, four of them critically.
Cassano was released on bail and is due in court Thursday. Police say additional charges may be considered.
