Police searched Friday for a possibly armed man in the area where President Obama attended a fundraiser in New Rochelle.
The president is no longer in New Rochelle. Following his stop in Westchester, Obama headed to a Democratic event in Rhode Island.
Authorities are staying low-key on the details, but security and police presence was high throughout the day.
Roads like Boston Post Road were closed as the president's motorcade made its way through the town earlier Friday. They have since reopened.
Parking restrictions were also put into place around noon Friday on Boston Post Road, but parking rules were back to normal as of 5 p.m.
The president will be back in the area Saturday for a wedding, so more delays are to be expected.
