Westchester County police are looking for a man who assaulted a woman on the bike path adjacent to the Bronx River Parkway in White Plains.

The attack happened just before 5 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the woman was walking when she was hit in the head from behind.

That man ran off as the woman stumbled and fell partially into the Bronx River.

She was wearing ear buds and believed they were ripped off during the assault.

They were later recovered in the water.
