State police are searching for a man who they say attacked several people with a knife in Cortlandt.

Authorities say Erick Grigoroff is considered armed and dangerous.

He&rsquo;s wanted on charges that include assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police ask that anyone who spots Grigoroff should keep their distance and call them.

We are of course on storm watch for this storm right now bearing down on Westchester and the Hudson Valley meteorologist Julian C Wright is here. So Julian, a lot of people that we heard from in Emily's story concern about their Monday morning commute. Absolutely. And they should be because we are going to be expecting this rain just to continue to be heavy throughout the next several hours. But even though a weekend, we are still going to be dealing with rain by the time we wake up for tomorrow morning as well, which is going to continue that flood issue for us. We're getting into what we have for our flood advisor. Just a reminder this watch is going to be in effect. We don't have a flood advisory, but we have a flood watch in effect until we get into about 1 p.m. for our Monday. Until then we're gonna be dealing with periods of heavy rainfall, consistent rain as well. But behind the rain, we're also gonna be monitoring those winds as of right now. Just a few areas have been hitting into gusting winds that are really clocking into the 30 to about 37 MPH range as for Poughkeepsie and over towards White Plains, but we are still seeing many areas towards the eastern side after getting hit with those stronger winds as we continue throughout the overnight. So a quick look at just exactly what we're gonna be expecting from tonight into our Monday morning. We're gonna be looking at street flooding to be possible because of the heavy rainfall and those high rainfall rates per hour, which could be between a half to three quarters of an inch of rainfall, which again could be leading to flooding for many of us. 1 to 2 inches of rain is gonna be likely for us across the lower Hudson Valley. But then again, behind it is going to be the windy conditions, isolated. Power outages are going to be possible as gusts can be from 30 to 40 MPH and we could see potentially some old trees being down because of those strong winds. So here's what we got going on for our radars right now, still monitoring some heavier downpours, especially across much of Dutchess in Ulster County and even for Putnam and going into Rockland, Westchester and even for Orange County. So pretty much everywhere is starting to see a bit of that heavier rainfall, which we're starting to see those totals even picking up a bit more as well, especially towards southern parts of Orange County, almost an inch and a half of rainfall. So really over the last two hours, we've almost seen a little bit more than the half of an inch of rain that has fallen for us. And just about two hours it goes to show you just how hard or heavy that rain has been over the last while. But again, once we get into the rest of tonight's, we're looking for our heaviest band of rain to be within the next couple of hours past midnight, the rain will start to phase out but some periods of heavy rain mainly to the east is gonna be possible right behind it. I'm gonna be seeing a cold front. That's right on your screen. We will be seeing a bit of a wintry mix, potentially even some snow flakes for some areas, especially north of Westchester and for Rockland counties. Now, it's not looking to accumulate much in terms of snow, but rain accumulations could still be about an inch close to two inches. Once everything's all said and done in regards to wind speeds, it's not just tonight, but heading into Monday afternoon, we're still gonna be dealing with some gusty winds and breezy conditions throughout our Monday. So it's not gonna fully improve, but at least it's not gonna be heavy rainfall for our Monday afternoon. Once we're done with Monday, smooth sailing with cold and sunny conditions.
