Peekskill police are asking for the public's help to locate a teen girl who has been missing for almost a week.
While authorities believe Veronika Tenesaca, 15, ran away from home, they are still concerned about the teen. Police say she didn't return from Peekskill High School Dec. 5.
Officials do not suspect foul play and say the teen had just had an argument with her guardian over her grades.
Police do have a few leads that indicate Tenesaca may be in northern Westchester. Peekskill police are working with their Mount Vernon counterparts to locate the girl.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Peekskill Police Department at 914-737-8000.
