Police release new images of man wanted in shooting of teen in Soundview
According to police, the incident happened at around 7:30 a.m. while the 14-year-old boy was on his way to school near Rosedale and Seward avenues.

Police have released new images of the person wanted in connection to shooting a teen Wednesday on his way to school in Soundview.
According to police, the incident happened at around 7:30 a.m. while the 14-year-old boy was on his way to school near Rosedale and Seward avenues.
Cops say the teen was sitting inside of a car when the gunman took out his gun and started shooting multiple rounds.
The bullets struck the teen in the leg and he was rushed to the hospital. The teen is expected to be OK.
After the shooting, police say the gunman ran off and is still on the run.
Anyone who recognizes him is asked to contact police.
