A man who led Westchester County police on a chase Wednesday morning was wanted on an attempted murder charge in New York City, police say.
County police say they were notified that the suspect, 27-year-old Dwayne Tucker, had fled the Bronx when NYPD arrived at his home. They spotted his car on the Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant.
The chase continued onto the Saw Mill Parkway and finally ended with the crash on Ash Avenue and Walnut Street in Yonkers.
During the chase, the suspect's vehicle hit two civilian vehicles.
Tucker now faces charges in Westchester and will be turned over to the NYPD.
