Police are investigating several possible attempted abductions in Lake Peekskill.

According to police, a man in a car asked several kids for directions at a bus stop Wednesday. The alleged incidents occurred at the intersection of Johnson and Becker streets. In one incident, police say the man asked a 12-year-old boy to get into his car and show him where to go.

Police say they will continue to patrol the area for the man. Officials at Putnam Valley Middle School, where all of the children are students, are also taking extra precautions.
