Police are investigating a string of robberies at gas stations from Peekskill to Eastchester.
Officials think that at least four of them may be the work of one suspect.
The latest robbery occured Monday night at a Shell gas station in Scarsdale at around 8 p.m. An employee of the station who wished to remain unnamed says he gave the suspect about $1,000 in total.
The suspect then fled the area moments after the police arrived.
Three other incidents occurred Monday night. A half-hour after the Scarsdale Shell was robbed, a Sunoco in Eastchester just 3 miles south was robbed. The Sunoco owner says the man got away on a bike with $600.
