Warwick police say Louis Miloszewski Jr. was found inside the home at 649 Wheeler Road.

Neighbors News 12 spoke to referred to Miloszewski as a kind soul who would give the shirt off his back.

According to officials, crews responded to the fire around 8 p.m. Upon arrival, crews found heavy fire at the rear portion of the three-story house spreading rapidly.

First responders were advised the owner was unaccounted for and began search operations immediately.

It was not immediately clear what caused the fire. Foul play is not suspected.
