Police say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car on the Bronx River Parkway Tuesday night.

They say a woman in her 50s was crossing the parkway on Fisher Lane in Greenburgh when she was hit.

The person driving at the car remained at the scene. Police have not identified the pedestrian.
