Police: Pearl River woman charged for driving three times over legal limit, hitting patrol car

A 69-year-old woman in Pearl River is facing charges for driving three times over the legal limit in New City.
Police say a blue Jeep hit another car while turning onto South Little Tor Road on Sunday night. The driver did not stay at the scene.
Police then found the Jeep and tried to stop the driver, after which authorities say the woman failed to listen.
Police say a patrol car was then positioned in front of the driver.
The 69-year-old crashed into the patrol car, and was arrested with a blood-alcohol content of .24, according to police.
No one was injured during the incident.
The woman is due in court later this month.
