There was an increased police presence at schools in the Lakeland Central School district Tuesday after a possible threat.

Yorktown police investigated several social media posts about a possible threat involving Lakeland High School. They say one student jokingly made a statement to another.

Officials questioned students and parents and determined there was no credible threat.
