A Newburgh man faces up to 15 years in prison after authorities said he menaced residents in the Village of Maybrook with a gun.

Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler says police responded to a complaint in November of 2023 and found 31-year-old Rudolph Davis with a loaded handgun.

Hoovler also says police found several rounds in his pocket that matched those at the scene.

Davis is currently in Orange County Jail without bail awaiting his sentencing.
