Police say an altercation in Ramapo involved a metal bat, a damaged car and a robbery.
Officials say they responded to a report of a robbery in progress around Route 306 and Maple Avenue around 12 p.m. Sunday.
The victim told officers he was driving when another driver cut him off and started driving aggressively. He said he pulled over, and the other car followed.
The victim said a 30-year-old woman got out and started hitting his car with a metal bat.
When the victim called 911, police say the woman took his phone and other items then drove off.
Officers found and arrested her about a five-minute drive away near Robert Pitt Drive and Melnick Drive.
She faces several charges, including criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest.
The woman is now in Rockland County Jail with a $10,000 cash bail.
