Police: Derby man faces charges for selling drugs from his car in the Norwalk area

Police say the man accused of punching a 9-year-old girl in face at Grand Central Terminal is in custody and facing assault charges.

Authorities say the unprovoked attack happened Saturday at 11:49 a.m.

MTA police say 30-year-old Jean Carlos Zarzuela approached the little girl who was standing near her mother at the dining area and punched her in the face.

The girl was taken to the hospital with pain and dizziness.

Additional charges are pending.
