Police in Torrington are looking for a man linked to a bank robbery on Tuesday morning.

Officials said it happened at the TD Bank on High Street around 11 a.m.

Investigators say Kyle Witkoski, 38, formerly of Southington, entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding cash while implying he was armed.

Witkoski allegedly attempted to rob a Dunkin' on Main Street on Saturday night but fled after a customer in the drive-thru chased him away before receiving any money.

Torrington police are asking the public to use caution if coming into contact with Witkoski and to report him to the Torrington Police Department at 860-489-2000.
