Police say a man may have tried to abduct his ex-girlfriend from a bus stop Wednesday morning in Greenburgh.
The incident happened on the westbound side of Tarrytown Road, near Manhattan Avenue. It was captured on surveillance cameras and witnessed by two local movers.
Police say the man tried to force the young woman into his car.
Witnesses Clay Lee and his co-worker Marcello say they intervened when the woman fought back after the man lifted her up. They say they drove the woman to safety. She also told them that she was a student at Westchester Community College.
Police say they believe the woman is not in any danger, but would like to speak with her and find her ex-boyfriend. They say the man could possibly face charges including unlawful imprisonment.
