Police say a man was shot in Yonkers early Sunday morning.

They say it happened on Ash Street around 2 a.m.

News 12 was told that two men got into some sort of argument and it escalated. That's when one of them shot the other in the chest.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

The suspect is behind bars.
