Authorities on Monday continued to search for the body of a man who leaped from the Bear Mountain Bridge over the weekend.
They described him as a 27-year-old from Pomona.
They say he jumped from the southern rail on the Rockland County side of the bridge Sunday.
Several law enforcement agencies were called out and could be seen searching the area surrounding the bridge. The search was suspended once it got dark, and resumed Monday.
State police and the Rockland County Sheriff's Marine Unit are both using sonar to help in the search near Cortlandt.
Police have not yet released the man's name.
