A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot multiple times early Sunday morning.
Police say the 27-year-old victim was shot in the chest at 1719 Lafayette Ave. at around 2:20 a.m.
The victim was transported to Jacobi Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
