A Newburgh man is facing several charges Sunday after he allegedly fled a fiery car crash.
John Pedrosa, 25, crashed his car into a rock wall on Fostertown Road early Friday morning.
Officials say Pedrosa then drove away from the scene of the crash to a nearby church, where his vehicle burst into flames.
Police were unable to locate Pedrosa when they arrived on the scene.
Officials say he was discovered about an hour later, dirty and muddy coming out of the nearby woods, and was taken into custody.
