Police: Man faces attempted murder charges in stabbing of woman in Liberty

Police say a man is facing felony charges for an attempted murder in the Village of Liberty.
News 12 was told 24-year-old Jesse Rubio stabbed a woman on North Main Street on Tuesday.
Police say the victim sustained multiple lacerations and puncture wounds and was taken to Westchester Medical Center for treatment.
Officres say Rubio stole the woman’s phone to dispose of evidence prior to his arrest.
He's also facing felony charges of robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence.
He's being held at Sullivan County Jail without bail.
