Man accused of assaulting 96-year-old grandmother at Rhinebeck home

A woman was taken to the hospital in Monticello on Tuesday after officers responded to a report that she was being held against her will.

Police arrested 54‑year‑old James Delbert Caston at the home.

Caston is facing multiple felony charges, including rape.

Officers took him into custody at the scene. The victim was transported for medical care.
