Police: Man charged with criminal contempt, possession of controlled substance in Poughkeepsie

The City of Poughkeepsie PBA says Sequamn Storts Jr. was seen in the area of Pulaski Park and apprehended on Wednesday.

A man arrested after being found on an active arrest warrant in Poughkeepsie this week is facing multiple charges, police say.
The City of Poughkeepsie PBA says Sequamn Storts Jr. was seen in the area of Pulaski Park and apprehended on Wednesday.
Police say he had been wanted for criminal contempt and is also a convicted felon under the supervision of federal probation.
Storts Jr. had fentanyl on him at the time of his arrest. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third and fourth degrees.
Authorities say he is being held at police headquarters pending arraignment.
