Police in White Plains say they arrested a 55-year-old man accused of raping a woman.

Police say they responded to a home on Sunday night to check on the welfare of a woman.

She told officers on scene she wanted to leave the home immediately.

The woman later told police at headquarters she was the victim of sexual assault.

Eugene Feeney was present on the scene and later arrested, according to detectives.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Westchester County Jail.
