Police arrested the man who was behind a subway assault and robbery in Brooklyn, and also wanted in connection to another crime.
The NYPD arrested Donald Sutherland, 34. He is being charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing. According to police, Sutherland was leaving the Avenue I train station when he walked up to a 43-year-old woman and punched her in the head, then took off with her cellphone and glasses on Oct. 18.
A week earlier, police say Sutherland walked up to an 18-year-old woman standing near Smith and Warren streets in Cobble Hill and touched her backside. When she confronted him, he punched her in the face before running away.
