3h agoNew Rochelle police say an arrest has been made in connection with car fires in New Rochelle on Tuesday evening.
Police say 55-year-old Mark Turner, of New Rochelle is charged with arson and criminal mischief.
Police responded to Lawton Street just after 7 p.m. after a car burst into flames and exploded.
Officials say Turner allegedly set fire to a BMW SUV that was registered under his name.
The flames spread to another SUV and destroyed both vehicles.
