Police: Mamaroneck student killed in upstate crash
<p>Officials say a college student from Mamaroneck was killed Saturday in a two-car crash in upstate New York. State police say 19-year-old Douglas Alvarez died from injuries suffered in the crash on I-88. Alvarez attended SUNY Cobleskill. Officials say five other students from the school were also hurt in the accident. Authorities say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.</p>
