Police identify, charge man linked to fatal Parkchester shooting

A man is behind bars in connection to a fatal shooting in Parkchester, police say.
According to the NYPD, officers received of shots being fired on Commonwealth Avenue on May 15. When they arrived, they say they found 18-year-old Jerome Burleigh with a single gunshot wound to his stomach.
He was taken to a hospital where they pronounced him dead.
23-year-old Jeremy Amadiz has been arrested and charged with second degree murder and first degree manslaughter.
