A Yonkers man has been charged with the murder of a man whose body was found on the side of the road in Ossining last month.
Police say 52-year-old Luis Blanco was shot and stabbed multiple times by 27-year-old Joaquin Recinos-Garcia.
Blanco's body was found on Route 133 near Tavano Road in Ossining last month.
Recinos-Garcia was arrested Friday night and arraigned on Saturday. He has been charged with second-degree murder, and was ordered held without bail at the Westchester County Jail.
Investigators say Blanco was a loan shark and it is likely that Recinos-Garcia owned him money.
Police say they found Recinos-Garcia through video surveillance from local businesses in Yonkers.
