A Bronx woman was found dead with her throat slashed in a Manhattan garage Tuesday, now police are searching for her husband.Police say 39-year-old Leonida Davila, of Co-Op City, was found in the passenger's seat of an SUV. The vehicle was parked in a 24-hour garage on the Lower East Side. According to the Bronx District Attorney?s Office, Davila had an order of protection against her husband, William DaVila. Court papers going back to April of 2007 highlight the couple's abusive relationship. One fight allegedly took place in front of their 4-year-old son. Police are calling the husband a "person of interest" in the case. The city medical examiner will determine the cause of death. The garage is blocked off as investigators comb through hours of security footage for clues in the slaying. They are also interviewing employees.
