A destructive fire engulfed a Rye home early Saturday morning.

Police say they received a call just after midnight regarding a fire at a home on Grandview Avenue.

They say no one was injured or in the house at the time of the fire.

Neighbors say the house was not being properly taken care of.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire but so far do not believe it is suspicious.
