Police say a suspect is wanted after two men were injured in a subway shooting that started in the Bronx.
Officers say a fight aboard the Manhattan-bound 4 train this morning led up to the shooting at the East 125th Street station in Harlem.
It is unclear how many people were involved, but police say it started with a disagreement between three men on the subway.
News 12 was told that during the exchange, one man pulled out a gun and opened fire aboard the train around midnight. It’s not clear if other commuters were on the train during the dispute.
Police say one man was shot in the elbow and arm while the other man was shot in the torso. Authorities say both men are in the hospital and not cooperating with the investigation.
This incident adds to a trend of violence within New York City's transit system. In September, the NYPD reported more than 300 complaints of crimes on buses or subways, ranging from arson to assault.
