Police are trying to piece together the final moments of a West Harrison man who was killed in a crash near the Saw Mill River Parkway.
Police say Chris Seguinot, 21, and some friends were drag racing on the parkway early Wednesday morning. Police say they identified four cars earlier in the evening in Hastings, attempting to slow down traffic to keep the parkway clear for the drag racing. Seguinot's Chevrolet Camaro flew off the Ashford Avenue Bridge exit ramp in Dobbs Ferry and plunged 30 feet over the side of the bridge.
Seguinot worked in construction at ELQ Industries in New Rochelle and Patrillo Contracting in Mount Vernon. Friends say the Camaro he was driving the night of the accident had been a graduation gift.
Police anticipate filing charges in the crash. Westchester County police say they receive several reports a month about drag racing and remind the public that drag racing is illegal.
