Police say a father shot his son during a dispute in Yonkers Tuesday.
The incident occurred at 148 Rossiter Ave. at around 4:30 p.m. Investigators have charged 66-year-old Barry Sheehan with assault for allegedly shooting his 30-year-old son in the left shoulder.
Witnesses say the victim was taken out on a stretcher, covered in blood. News 12 has learned that the victim is now in stable condition at a local hospital.

Police say they have recovered a semi-automatic handgun from the scene.
Sheehan is currently being held at county jail.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
