The Peekskill Police Department has released new details about two recent shootings.
Last Friday, two women were injured by a man who shot into their car.
Officials say he fired multiple rounds, striking one woman in the abdomen and the other in the legs. Both victims survived.
"I am pleased to say both victims have since been released from the hospital and I'm definitely pleased to announce that we have made an apprehension in Friday evening's shooting,” said Detective Lt. Jack Galusha, of the Peekskill Police Department.
Police say there was a second incident during which shots were fired at a residence Monday morning. No one was hurt, and no arrests have been made in that incident.
