An ambulance fatally struck a person in Port Jervis Sunday, according to police.
They say it happened on Barcelow Street when the Port Jervis Volunteer Ambulance hit a 22-year-old man on their way to a service call. The victim was reportedly sleeping in front of their bay door.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's name is being withheld until family members are notified.
