Police are investigating after two pedestrians were struck in Sullivan County.
It happened Thursday afternoon on State Route 17 eastbound near Exit 106 in the Town of Thompson.
Investigators say the victims were traveling in a vehicle that became disabled.
They stepped out to have a look when the driver of a white 2013 Ford Taurus lost control of his vehicle, struck several guardrails before hitting both the 69- and 20-year-old victims.
They were rushed to the hospital.
State police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them with information.
