Saugerties police say they arrested two men connected to several burglaries. 

They say Kirk Shultis was arrested just after 5 p.m. Friday in connection with a string of burglaries throughout the town. He's charged with two counts of burglary in the second degree.  

Shultis is the father of Paislee Shultis, the 6-year-old girl who was found hidden with her mother under a staircase in her grandfather's home three years after being reported missing. He already faces charges of custodial interference and endangering the welfare of a child. 

Police also arrested Matthew Doyle, charging him with two felony counts of burglary.
