yesterdayTwo people are now behind bars for a string of gas station burglaries in Bedford following a months-long investigation.
Police say Berto Dominguez and Michael Cruz, from the Bronx, committed at least five gas station burglaries between September and November.
Their arrests come from a task force of police agencies in Westchester, Putnam, and Rockland counties.
Four men were arrested Dec. 23 after a police chase from a gas station burglary in the Town of Fishkill.
Bedford police say the investigation's still going and more arrests are expected.
