A 16-year-old is recovering after he suffered a gunshot wound to his arm Friday in Beacon.

Police say they received multiple calls reporting gunfire near the Tompkins Terrace Apartments at around 6 p.m.

Officers found the 16-year-old at the scene and transported him to a hospital in stable condition.

Authorities say an investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
