Police: 14-year-old dies from injuries suffered in Stony Point plow truck crash

Police say the teen appeared to have been operating a motorbike southbound at the intersection when he collided with a privately-owned plow truck.

A 14-year-old boy died after his motorbike collided with a plow truck in Stony Point Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the crash happened around 3 p.m. at North Liberty Drive and Wayne Avenue.
Police say the juvenile appeared to have been operating a motorbike southbound at the intersection when he collided with a privately-owned plow truck.
The victim was taken to Westchester Medical Center where he died on Wednesday.
The operator of the truck remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The name of the teen had not yet been released as of Thursday evening.
